We're back in the US now. We left Great Sale Cay on Wednesday and were anchored in Lake Worth, Florida on Thursday morning at 8:00am. It was a good crossing although we had to motor sail most of the way. One thing we've learned is that there are only three kinds of wind - too much; not enough or the wrong direction!! We cleared customs in Lake Worth and spent a couple of days in the north anchorage getting accustomed to civilization again. Travelled outside from Lake Worth Inlet to Fort Pierce Inlet and then up the ICW to Vero Beach. We had an absolutely beautiful trip outside; sure beats the ICW!! We're planning to spend a few days in Vero before heading north again. It's like Old Home week here in Vero as boats we met in the Bahamas keep checking in.
