We've arrived in the Bahamas!!! Docked at the Old Bahama Bay Marina in West End early this morning; cleared customs; cleaned up and slept. The first 3/4 of our crossing was magical, full moon, perfect wind ... the last 20 miles was awful - the wind picked up to 25 knots and the seas kept building. After the first wave crashed over the dodger Abby went below and hid in our bed until we were securely docked. She hardly spoke to either of us all day. Anyway we ended up going into the Old Bahama Bay Marina at West End instead of Lucaya as planned because of the heavy seas. We are here now safe and sound but the wind is still howling. Abby forgave us after a wonderful run on the beach - the water looks like a postcard. Posted by Picasa

Well Congratulations!! So glad to hear you made it safe and sound. I've just figured out how to add links to the front page of our blog and added your blog as a link. You had great armadillo pics. Looks like we'll be traveling to Naples for two weeks. Well almost 2 weeks, construction is only done 4 days a week for 10 hours a day. The boat will wait for us to return, for closer work. Blah blah blah. Sorry for using that kind of language(work). :)

Safe travels and exploring. Miss you guys
