Life is tough for crew aboard Sea Holly. Posted by Hello

Abby's enjoying a "Pooch Pop" - sure was hot today, 35C. Typical Maritime weather, tomorrow it could snow! Posted by Hello

Finally, all the electronics are working correctly (knock on wood)! Posted by Hello

We had our longest sail so far, 21 nm!! Getting the hang of docking a sailboat, not much different from the powerboat but BIGGER!! We now only have a couple of people on the dock for assistance - we are making progress. Abby got new sunglasses and we think she looks pretty cool but she's a little embarrassed yet - will get a photo soon. We had the rail in the water - not something Abby and I particularly liked but at least we did it and more importantly, figured out how to "undo" it!! Posted by Hello

Work continues on Sea Holly. I think it may be a never ending task but we keep at it every day. We've been sailing on our own twice now and are learning more every day. Lots of studying and then practice, practice. Posted by Hello
June 13 - we crewed in our first race (crewing might be stretching it - we were basically moveable ballast) on board "The Simpson's" a J 29. It was pretty exciting and we won too!! Can't wait till next week. Posted by Hello

Another manual to study - the wind generator! Posted by Hello
